How To Tell if Your Sneaker Fits
If you are a runner then you already know how important it is to find properly fitting sneakers, however many non-runner people don’t understand how to choose a correctly fitting shoe. For every job you need the right tool to get it done and when it comes to being active the tool is your sneakers. Consider the following advice on how to choose a properly fitting sneaker.
Typically the first thing people do when choosing shoes is to decide if there is enough room at the front of the runner. It is an important step that many customers are unclear about - Here’s how to check for the correct amount of space at the front of the shoe: The length between your longest toe and the top of the shoe should be about the size of your thumb.
After you have checked the front of the sneaker for toe space you can move on to the heel. A good tip is that your heel should not slide up or down while you walk. The heel should stay stationary.
The same advice given for selecting an appropriate heel can be helpful when deciding on the width of your shoe. The widest section of your shoe should never move around. That portion of the shoe should remain firm enough to to hold your foot in place while strolling but not too snug that it becomes uncomfortable to walk in.
The last piece of advice to think about when looking for the perfect shoe is to check the top of the shoe. The section of the footwear that covers the top of your foot should not be too tight but should be taut enough to stay in place without irritating your foot - No one likes that uncomfortable feeling!
If the shoes are not for games then the fit is not a huge concern. If the use of the shoes are for running or competitive games then you need to make sure they fit properly. Don’t forget to ensure that the selected shoe fits in the toe, the heel, across the top of the foot and the width of the foot. If you go along with the advice given you will find a runner that is excellent for exercise and daily physical activities.
